The NextGen Tournament Trail is more than a competitive platform for junior and high school anglers—it is a movement dedicated to shaping future leaders. Our mission is to instill values of community service, conservation, and character in every student who participates.
We believe that fishing is more than a sport—it is an opportunity to build integrity, compassion, and teamwork both on and off the water. Through service projects, leadership opportunities, and a commitment to wildlife stewardship, our youth anglers are encouraged to uplift their communities, protect the outdoors, and inspire others by example.
This trail was formed with the future in mind: to empower young anglers to represent the spirit of integrity, generosity, and service, while strengthening the quality of our world, our waters, and our shared tomorrow
We are a non-profit organization for the Central Texas Region, who provides the opportunity for (TBF) The Bass Federation Juniors and (SAF) Student Angler Federation high school students. We also give our youth the opportunity to earn towards their further education.
